Martial arts comic launches video YouTube Channel
Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008With the entire first season of the critically acclaimed comic series JFH: Justice-For-Hire currently available, Creative Impulse Entertainment (CIE) is launching a JFH YouTube Channel to expand the universe of the comic book and hold fans over until the premier of season 2 in 2009.
JFH is the first and only comic book in the history of the industry, let alone currently available on the market, to fully incorporate live action storylines simultaneously into the comics via the Action DVDs that come packed free with every issue, said CIE CEO Jan Lucanus. By introducing online exclusive video content, we are now taking the opportunity between seasons to give our fans supplemental storylines of main and supporting characters that will directly affect the JFH universe. We are taking our brand of ultra-realistic mixed martial arts to the next level, working with even more real fighters, and experimenting with new filmmaking techniques. It will be truly awesome!
The channel address is www.YouTube.com/JusticeForHire.
In addition, CIE will also be previewing the first issue of world-renowned Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Master John Machados new comic book mini-series Faixa-Preta (The Black Belt). Inspired by Machados stories of Brazil, the near-future epic is penned and drawn by veteran videogame character designer Chadwick Coleman. Both Machado and Coleman will be present at the book signing at the Con on Saturday, July 26, from 2-4pm.
